Our Master Smiths - The Artisans Behind DRACBLADE

The Hands That Forge Legends

Every DRACBLADE sword is hand-forged in Longquan, Zhejiang - a city with over 2,600 years of swordmaking history. Known as the Sword Capital of China, Longquan swordmaking was recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2006.

Traditional Forging Process

Our master smiths follow the ancient technique of hundred-refinement steel folding (Bai Lian Gang). Each blade undergoes:

  1. Raw steel selection and heating to 1,200C
  2. Repeated folding and hammering (up to 15,000 layers for Damascus)
  3. Clay tempering to create the visible hamon (blade pattern)
  4. Hand polishing with 12 grades of whetstone
  5. Fitting assembly with traditional wood and alloy components

Our Workshop

Located at Lingshang Village, Longquan, our workshop combines centuries-old techniques with modern quality control. Each sword passes a 5-point inspection before receiving its certificate of authenticity.

Quality Commitment

We use only high-carbon steel (1060, T10) and genuine Damascus folding techniques. Every blade is a functional work of art, designed for collectors who appreciate authentic craftsmanship.
