These functional Wing Chun Butterfly swords are made of folded steel, great for Chinese martial arts practice. Butterfly swords are often wielded in pairs. The brown leather scabbard is made so that the swords can be sheathed together to give the appearance of a single sword. It can be buckled around the handle for safety. The brass handle's crossguard protects the hands of the user, and can be used to control the enemy's opponents weapon, by allowing you to safely "hook" it. The blade is designed for cutting and slashing in close quarters. It's perfect for the arts of Wing Chun, Hung Ga, and Choy Li Fut. Please note, our swords are handmade so specifications vary slightly from sword to sword.
